The Plexus Education Foundation is bringing together existing resource groups & employers considering starting and/or expanding current resource groups to share best practices and lessons learned in starting LGBT ERGs. They will share successes and challenges in implementing, maintaining and expanding ERGs. The roundtable will spark dialog that will lead to networking between employers and ERG representatives as they move forward in their process of building or strengthening ERGs. The roundtable is focused on the LGBT community / population.

Sherry Nolan, Director, Global Talent Management, Development and Diversity joined The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in December of 2008.

In her role, Sherry is leading the company’s business-wide initiatives and programs for executive and associate recruitment, retention, performance management, succession planning and talent development. In addition she is leading Goodyear’s diversity efforts on a global basis. Finally, Sherry is also responsible for the strategy and implementation of Goodyear’s HRIS systems and technology solutions for Human Resources.

Sherry brings to Goodyear nearly 20 years of business related and broad based HR experience. For the past eight years, Sherry held various leadership positions at The Pepsi Bottling Group in Somers, NY where most recently she was responsible for Worldwide Staffing, Diversity & Organization Capability. In previous positions, her experience has included organizational development, labor relations, succession planning and change management.

Sherry received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut.
